Most PropTech is built by people who studied the real estate market from the outside. Marshall Pickett lived inside it for over a decade.

Marshall started his career at DR Horton, one of the largest homebuilders in America, earning Silver Medalist Rookie of the Year at the NAHB National Conference, then Sales Agent of the Year at DR Horton. After five years in new construction, he transitioned to general brokerage, climbing the ranks to become a top 1% luxury broker at Christie's International Real Estate, where he's now part owner of Ivester Jackson Christie's. A decade of experience across every price point, from first-time buyers to multi-million dollar waterfront estates.

Gunnar Staples didn't come from real estate. He came from the side of tech that figured out how to turn browsing behavior into revenue over a decade ago. E-commerce, retail media, advertising automation, AI, and the analytics that connect all of it.

Gunnar cut his teeth managing over $100 million in ad spend across Amazon and Walmart for major CPG brands. His published research on coordinating Sponsored Ads and DSP was picked up by Amazon and turned into a built-in feature in Amazon Marketing Cloud. Today he runs Texin.ai and Texin Commerce, where he helps consumer brands win in AI search, retail media, and conversion optimization. He built AI Radar, a tool that tracks how brands show up in ChatGPT and AI search results. He's the person brands call when they need to figure out where their customers are going next.
